Hmm, where shall I start...
Inside the theatre, I saw couples everywhere. Like everywhere. Some baka couples also. I felt really out of the world, even though what I would be watching was a shounen movie. Shounen yeah. Oh and, before FTB, there was a Dragonball movie trailer, you know the one that has western Goku and one handed kamehameha? Right after that, the lady beside me said this to her friend, "This makes you want to say, 'Nanja koreyaa?' (What the hell is this?) right?" I tried my best not to laugh.
Lights off, movie started with Mayuri's delicate fingers on his piano keyboard which I adore so much. He just finished something: the flower thingie with pendant inside it. The moment he wants to take it, there's a sound behind him and he goes, "Who is it?!" then his neck was slashed instantly.
He forgets everything, Nemu comes with her usual, "Mayuri-sama?" and before you know it, the pendant was already stolen and the evil-you-know-who used it and called white snake-thingie to create chaos in Seireitei.
Mayuri was scared of Nemu, "Do you plan to kill me?!" Then he screams like a girl, "HIIII!!!" and "NOOOOOO!!!" which scared me a bit (I think this just proves, whatever mode Mayuri is in, he always scares me) but then after some running he falls flat on the ground. Flat. I wondered why I was the only one who laugh.
He was in panic mode, took his zanpakutou (and went shikai instantly) and stabbed it on his computer, one thing that I will never, ever do to mine. Because all hell will broke loose and indeed it does.
The white snake thingie goes wild and destroys Seireitei like a tsunami. Many people got swallowed while Yama-jii and other captains are just gazing at far. Kenpachi went to Mayuri's place, Mayuri screams some more and goes bankai only by swinging his sword back and forth (is that possible?). But then his bankai, together with Kenpachi was swallowed by the white snake thingie.
Meanwhile at the other side of Seireitei, Rukia sensed something, "Did something happen?" She put the envelope inside her shihakusho but when she was about to go, she was stopped by you-know-who, "No, don't go there!" After some hihihi fufufu, she said, "I'll erase your existence." But the one who did that was the other you-know-who. I have to say that the song that were played, "Pray that you always understand me," was absolutely stunning.
They changed place, the sister was looking at the destruction and said, "It's better if all shinigami were vanished." Rukia was in the brother's arm (similar to how Ichigo carried her in Soukyoku) He said, "We're always losing something, because they're always taking things from us." Rukia slipped from his grip, falls into sitting position (hard to describe, sorry) Her eyes are black and emotionless. The following scenes show Renji, Nii-sama, Yama-jii (rofl, why?) then Ichigo.
The title came up, the way it fades to black was really cool.
Scene changed to Karakura Town. Ichigo went, "What is it just now?" Kon was hmmmm-ing at Rukia's letter. Ichigo asked him what he's been doing until now, he answered that he tried to read Nee-san's letter but he couldn't understand the code. Ichigo took the letter from him, read a few words and saw the hint, "What the hell is this?" then he threw the letter. Kon desperately tried to catch it.
He protested "Don't say bad things on Nee-san's artistic drawing skill!!" Ichigo brushed him off, "Ridiculous. Anyway who's this 'Nee-san'?" Kon got confused, "What are you talking about?! Nee-san is Nee-san! Are you drunk?!" After some more bickering, Ichigo threw Kon and went to sleep.
He had a dream about Rukia, the flashbacks includes when Rukia changed him into a shinigami (eps 2 and 3) then Memories in the Rain scenes, when Rukia is taken scenes, bridge scenes, Soukyoku rescue scene and the last was first episode scene. Rukia's voice was echoing, she said, "Tawake/Idiot", "Bakamono/Idiot" (Ichigo, are those the only warm words you remember from Rukia...?), "I won't say thank you" and "You become a shinigami!"
Ichigo woke up with a start, eyes widen and all, after some pause he whispered, "Rukia..." *nosebleeds* He immediately turned on the light and woke Kon up (the way he gripped the letter hard while sleeping is so cute). Without waiting for him to wake up, Ichigo took the letter roughly from him. Seems like 'Patience' is never in his dictionary when something happens to Rukia.
"This cockroach-like drawing... there's a watermelon beside it, is this supposed to be 'kabuto-mushi?'" Just a moment ago he didn't understand. Now that he remembers her, he solved it easily in one look, one look people! I got the feeling that it's not that he understand the picture but he understand Rukia's way of thinking/drawing...... Moeeee...
Btw, Kabuto-mushi is a name of insect (beetle), but it could be read as 'ignore kabuto' so by leaving 'ka', 'bu' and 'to' words out from the letter you could understand the message.
"Something came up so I have to return to Soul Society. I'll be back after few days so be good and wait for me, idiots. Rukia."
Again, 'patience' never seems to exist. He went to Urahara ASAP, without changing or anything. Maybe Pierrot just lazy to design another clothes for him for a few more scenes.
Ichigo thanked Ururu who brought him a cup of tea but she looked confused. Outside Jinta and others (Yoruichi was also there) were eyeing him with suspicious look as well.
Confused Urahara, "So your's... ah..?"
Impatience Ichigo, "It's Kuchiki Rukia!"
Even more confused Urahara, "Ah, Kuchiki Rukia... Who again?"
Ichigo in rage, "What are you talking about?! It's Rukia!! She's your regular here right?!"
WTF?? Urahara, "My regular?" *took out notes* "Ooh, well her name does written here-"
Hell yeah Ichigo, "Isn't it!"
Confused Urahara, "But sorry I really don't remember her."
Emo Ichigo, "What the hell is happening..."
Kon teased, "Even you forgot about Nee-san for a moment!" Ichigo didn't answer, he looked down with that melancholy look on his face, "Did something happen to Rukia?" *nosebleeds*
Urahara explained that it may not related to Kuchiki Rukia person but last night there was a disaster happened in Seireitei from Mayuri's lab that destroyed 1/3 parts of Seireitei. If these two disaster were connected so there may be a chance that there's something that is affecting their memories about Kuchiki Rukia.
Out of the blue, really out of it, really, he really didn't have to ask, but Urahara asked it anyway, "So, what is your relationship with this Rukia person?"
"That's," A pause, a freaking lonnnnng pause complete with Urahara's smirk. A very, very evil smirk. I-knew-it-but-I-just-had-to-ask-smirk. After looking down and up, Ichigo finally answers (hey, for a guy who didn't know patience, you sure sure are taking your time to answer, Ichigo), "She's a precious nakama," followed by Kon's, "She's my dear Nee-san!!"
I was starting to doubt if I will survive watching the whole movie, just because Ichigo at the first fifteen minutes or so already made me melt on my chair.
So Ichigo and Kon went to SS, by falling down. No kidding but this scene reminds me of the beginning of Magic Knight Rayearth. Moving on, they saw a bunch of frozen shinigami and was shocked by it, especially Kon (he was so cute). "Nee-san! How about Nee-san? She's allright isn't she?!" Kon was so adorable. "Shut up, don't make a ruckus. First thing first, we have to search for Rukia." Yes, go and find your soulmate, Ichigo.
At the same time, the twins+Rukia was heading to one of the gate which Oomaeda and his squad was assigned to. At different place, Ichigo saw Hisagi, Kon asked him if he knows him, Ichigo answered that he only knows his face. "Hisagi-san, what the hell is happening here?" Place changed again, With the sister's order, the brother summoned one white snake-thingie with the pendant. The white snake was going right towards Ichigo's direction so he went Vaizards and cut the snake into two. But the snake didn't vanish but became a two headed snake instead. It bumps into the gate (Oomaeda and his subordinates already ran away), the scene when the door was flying was quite cool.
The twins were standing below the gate, the brother said, "Our road to walk on, together with Rukia," before vanishing.
Meanwhile confused Kon and Vaizard Ichigo was surrounded by Hisagi's squad. "Hisagi-san, it's me, Kurosaki Ichigo!" Who? Oh, ryoka ka!
Onigiri no guu! (any burimyu fans here?) Ichigo was attacked here and there, then his so called 'battle' with Hisagi begins. After a few slash and dogde, "Hisagi-san, I don't want to fight with you!" then he jumped and ran away. So much for 'a battle we have never seen before', ne Morita-kun?
He was stopped by Renji right after. "Is this all your doing?!" Another O.O from Ichigo, "It's me, Ichigo!" Who? Oh, ryoka ka?
Onigiri no guu--- (k I shall stop this)"Stop it Renji! I don't want to fight you!" It's Renji's turn to O.o "Bastard, why do you know my name?"
"Listen, Renji, Rukia is in danger!"
"Rukia? What are you talking about?"
"Don't tell me you don't remember Rukia? ...
It's RUKIA we're talking here!!" *nosebleeds* Some flashback and Renji was hesistated a bit. Ichigo shouted again, "There's no way you will forget about her, isn't that so, Renji?!!" but Renji said, "Don't keep talking things I don't understand!" He attacked him again so Ichigo runs away but counter Komamura instead.
Komamura went bankai while Ichigo and Kon was flllyying on air. With tons of Getsuga Tenshouuuuu!!! Ichigo managed to make Komamura's bankai fall on his knees.
Scene changed to Rukia in Inuzuri. She just woke up, feeling pain and then looked outside of the window. She had flashback of her days in Inuzuri (when she was first met Renji cs but there was no Renji, oh, and the whole scenes were redrawn and not the anime one, because there's no Renji) that's why she remembers that the place she's in right now is Inuzuri.
The twins came in and the sister jumped right ahead to Rukia, making both of them fall. She cried while hugging Rukia, WITH A BIG SMILE ON HER FACE. If that's not adorable then I don't know what is.
The brother told her to properly show her face or else Rukia won't remember. The sister woke up and asked, "Look at us, Rukia, do you remember about us?"
Scene changed to Captain's meeting. Ukitake reported about the destruction, Unohana reported about frozen shinigami's condition, Komamura reported about the ryoka, that he wears hollow mask, have a reaitsu at captain's level and seems to know about Renji. Nii-sama reported that Renji himself stated that he doesn't know the ryoka at all. Hitsugaya went >
"I don't like this." Ukitake asked, "About what?" He replied, "Everything."
But Toushirou-kun, I actually like everything so far, well maybe except some quality animation.
Ichigo was fainted in sewer and Hanatarou was healing him. The moment Ichigo opened his eyes, Hanatarou went, "I'M SORRY I'M SORRY!" Ichigo complemented him for being a good healer as usual. Hanatarou felt that it's not the first time he treated this person before but he brushed it off as his own imagination.
"Right now you're very troubled aren't you?!" Hanatarou asked. He said that through healing you can feel the person's pain, let it be pain from the wounds and/or pain from the heart. HEART IZ PAINFUL, NE ICHIGO? I UNDERSTAND. Ichigo said, "There's no point just to stay and worrying about it." After thanking him Ichigo went off with Kon.
The sister poured soup and gave it to Rukia, "It'll cheer you up." Rukia complemented the soup and the sister was so happy. Rukia said that she couldn't remember them properly yet. She opened the letter she received from the twins and asked when did she get the letter but the sister said, "The drawing is good, right? We copied the drawing you used to draw for us." Yes, it was damn cute.
Rukia asked why they didn't put names, because they didn't have one. The sister said that Rukia promised them to give them names, because in human world usually it's parents who give names to children.
Flashback comes, the twins just came back from somewhere (in the rain) Rukia wiped them dry just like a mother would do to their children. Then she asked them if it's allright for her to name them. The sister cried in joy and danced with her brother after. Rukia finally remembered that these two are the kids from that time. The sister was so happy that she finally remembers, she asked Rukia what's their name but suddenly horrible flashbacks came to Rukia. She felt pain in her head and fell.
Rukia still couldn't remember what their names are. Rukia asked her what's she been doing until now. The brother answered that she has been sleeping. The sister nods, lying that Rukia was wounded and indeed has been sleeping for a very, very long time. She asked her not to worry or hurry, because they will always be together.
Nii-sama went BAM-BAM-BAM-BAM opening every door in his mansion until he reached Rukia's room. There's almost nothing inside, only a mirror and a table with chappy carved on it. Then he went to Hisana's shrine which had so many freaking flowers, unlike in the manga. Kon broke the silence with, "That photo! It's Nee-san!!"
Nii-sama told him not to make any ruckus. Ichigo apologized and said he doesn't want to make any ruckus there also (because the consequences are high, isn't that so, Ichigo? Don't tell me you knew it from experience... hmm??)
"That person in the picture, is Hisana-san right? She looks alike with Rukia..."
Outside the old man who's always by Nii-sama's side saw Ichigo and went off instantly. Ichigo asked Nii-sama if he realized that something is wrong, "Hisana-san is Rukia's sister, isn't she?"
"Rukia?"
"Rukia is your sister of pride, isn't she? She's your sister whom you will protect even if it means breaking the rules." *nosebleeds* How understanding of you, Ichigo *nosebleeds*
"...So you don't remember after all..."
Nii-sama's coolness just dropped by 10%. Noooooeeeesss!!! *cries*
"How do you know about my wife, Hisana?"
"That's-"
A lot of shinigami were surrounding the room. Nii-sama already told them not to interfere but Renji just had to show up from the garden and attacked Ichigo instantly.
"You're not a person that could understand things by words, right Renji? Then I'll let you know by your body!"
...THAT SOUNDS SO WRONG.
Moving on, Ichigo went bankai and asked Renji why he didn't do the same. Renji went O.O Me? Bankai?
"You practiced hard for Rukia, didn't you?"
The fighting scene was similar, err no, it was a copypaste of Ichigo vs Renji fight in SS (complete with flashback also), especially their last poses. After Renji was defeated, Nii-sama pulled out his sword, "Chire-" but Ichigo stopped him with his shoujo eyes.
SHOUJO EYES, THOSE BURN YOUR EYES. PIERROT, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ICHIGO AND NII-SAMA, NO, MORE IMPORTANTLY TO NII-SAMA!! *cries*
Nii-sama gave up and told Ichigo about Inuzuri, Ichigo went off after thanking him. Meanwhile in Inuzuri, Rukia was sitting on top of the roof. The sister came and asked if it's ok for her to come by Rukia's side. Rukia let her. She reminiscences how she missed the air of this town even though she still couldn't remember who she is.
"I'll remember it for sure, your names." She said that with very motherly look on her face.
Rukia looked at the hill and remembered that was the hill her friends were buried at. She decided to go over there while the sister had that sad look on her face the entire time.
Scene changed to Nii-sama. He had a flashback of Hisana and himself (omg young Nii-sama is sexy, then again he's always sexy). She just secretly went to Rukongai, Nii-sama asked her not to push herself too much. Hisana said that there's something she has to search, no matter what happens to her body. Nii-sama then asked himself, "Searching... for what?" He took a book from the shelf and realized something from it, what is it about was never explained.
Soi Fong reported about ryoka's whereabout to Yama-jii. She explained that Hitsugaya cs is going to his place.
Ichigo and Kon entered Inuzuri and was shocked by what they saw there. "Was Nee-san really lived here before?" Ichigo answered, "Ahh, looks so." He looked around to see many dirty old men sleeping, gambling, drunk, etc etc. Kon wondered, "There's no way Nee-san would be here- hmm?" He smelled something and called Ichigo who answered, "Ahh... it's Rukia." Dear God, I DID not know that Ichigo has the ability to sense Rukia by smell.
Rukia was looking at the tombs on top of the hill, "Right, I lived together with my friends here... and..."
"Nee-san!!" Kon called her from far, also Ichigo, "Rukia!!" Rukia looked at him suspiciously. Ichigo was smiling, " and Kon was tearing up, "I'm so glad you're safe."
"Who are you?"
Both of them were shocked by Rukia's statement. Ichigo went, "What are you talking about, Rukia!" The twins came and protect Rukia instantly. Rukia asked them to step back, she moved closer to Ichigo, "Who are you? Why do you know my name?"
Ichigo had that stunned look on his face, while kon goes, "Me? How about me? You do remember about me, right Nee-san?"
"Shut up you suspicious living thing!"
ROFLMAO. Rukia pwns. So bad.
Meanwhile, Ichigo still had that stunned look (LMAO, the shock was too big for you Ichigo?) "Rukia... you really don't remember?"
"Naa, Rukia..." --> His voice are shaking, just like a husband whose wife is leaving him.
"It's ME, ICHIGO!" *nosebleeds* Morita-kun GJ~! Ichigo's voice is too heartbroken and moe for me to handle. Everyone may forgets, but there's no way you will forget --> I have that kind of impression from Ichigo's words <3
The moment Rukia heard his name, flashbacks come. Rukia held her head in pain. The sister thought it must be the shinigami's fault so the brother attacked him. The funny thing is Ichigo still shouts, "Rukia!" Pfft, lovesick Ichigo, me like. The sister released a black reaitsu, for a moment the brother disappear and reappear behind Ichigo. Ichigo convinced himself that it must not be a shunpo.
The twins together with Rukia disappear, Ichigo went, "Rukia..." again. *nosebleeds*
Someone was coming to visit Mayuri in jail, it was Urahara. TBTP fans would be happy with this scene, because it's similar to it. Mayuri remembered Urahara, "What a nostalgic face." Urahara came with Mayuri's spare brain in jar. He said he had troubles searching for it in Mayuri's lab.
"Then shall we starts? In order to regain everything..."
Ichigo was depressed, he just sitting there looking down and sad and depressed (Yes, Morita-kun, I found the scene you were talking about). Kon kept walking and walking around Ichigo. He kept talking about the last incident and about Nee-san, why she forgets about them.
"What hurts is not the wound but heart," he said that while pointing his heart.
Kon complained that Ichigo didn't say anything for the whole thing. Ichigo still with that depressed look on his face, "Nothing could be helped, even Rukia, I don't exist inside them."
"Somewhere I thought that only Rukia will remember me." *nosebleeds* Oi oi oi oi, is this movie still shounen?
Kon punched him twice, "I misjudge you Ichigo! What are you being depressed for?! Even in human world, you sensed that something happened to Nee-san!
Even thought everyone forgets, you DIDN'T FORGET ABOUT NEE-SAN!! You're still connected to Nee-san!" He said the last sentence while connecting both of his hands. I'm just smiling for the whole scene. He's so freaking adorable.
Ichigo went silent, Kon said that it doesn't matter if Nee-san doesn't remember him, he'll search for her and then he leaves Ichigo alone.
Scene changed to the twins and Rukia back in their home. Rukia said that she knows that shinigami, "I know him, I know that shinigami." She held the sister's hand and asked her what she's been doing until now, that she's actually not sleeping for all this time, and why she knows that shinigami. She's so persistent that the sister broke into tears again, explaining that they just came from a far away land. It took them about 100 years to come there and finally meet Rukia.
The brother said that all shinigami do is taking things away. The sister agreed that they took all happy and enjoyful things, even Rukia.
Flashback comes, Rukia held her head in pain and went unconscious. The sister released the black reiatsu, "It's all their fault... shinigami!"
Ichigo was looking at the letter Rukia left for him and Kon. Then flashback, back in his room, he was reading a book in bed while Rukia was drawing on his table while humming (Ichigo in 2nd OVA clothes and Rukia in her usual blue dress, omg anime staff...) Ichigo asked her what's she doing. Rukia hides the drawing instantly and told him not to peek.
"Just wait and find out!" Smiling Rukia is damn kawaii.
Kon suddenly reappeared and screamed, "Aaah! Just when I thought I lost it! When did you steal Nee-san's love letter for me!"
L.O.V.E.L.E.T.T.E.R.L.O.V.E. desu ne? *nods nods*
Then again Ichigo you sneaky bastard, so you kept that L.O.V.E.L.E.T.T.E.R. with you THIS whole time, because it's a L.O.V.E.L.E.T.T.E.R. desu ne? *nods nods*
Ichigo smiles, "Kon! Thank you..." Kon went "HUHHHHH?!!!" instantly.
"Really, to think that I have to be told by you, I'm still no good." Ichigo still smiling, thanked Kon again who went blushed (so cute lol).
Hitsugaya, Ikkaku and Yumichika appeared on top of the roof. Ichigo said hello to Hitsugaya, Ikkaku asked how did he know but then Ichigo said both his and Yumichika's name.
"I won't forget, even if you don't remember."
Ikkaku attacked him, Ichigo evades it perfectly. Everyone seems to realize that this ryoka person knows their way of fight. Hitsugaya told Ikkaku to back off and then he confronts Ichigo himself. Ichigo was soon pwned and got chained. When he about died, Renji came with his zabimaru.
"My brain said that you're an enemy but my soul said otherwise. I will do as my soul said."
Eeh... Do not want D:
Yama-jii, Soi Fong, Ukitake and Shunshui appeared. Soi Fong told her squad to take the ryoka together with Renji but Urahara came with his captain robe. Yama-jii cs seemed to remember Urahara.
Somewhere out there, the twins are heading somewhere. Rukia was unconscious on the brother's back. The brother was worried that if this continues Rukia may not remember their names. The sister went panic, she told him that Rukia must not remember that day or everything will be over.
"It's ok, if we destroy all shinigami, Rukia will stay together with us. Even if she doesn't remember our names... Let's go."
Scene changed back to Yama-jii cs. Urahara was trying to explain something but Soi Fong does not want, but she was stopped by Yoruichi. She asked everyone if everyone is forgetting something, something really important. Ukitake and Shunshui asked her what is it. But before that Urahara explained to Ichigo that the one who took Mayuri's and Rukia's memories seemed to be the same person. Ichigo asked if it's the twins with big scythe. Then Urahara told them to go. Ichigo and Renji went off, Renji complained him not to call him without honorifics (again) then left with him.
Ichigo was running hard, Renji following behind. He asked him, "Hey, you! Just what are you going to do now?"
"Huh? I told you we're going to find Rukia!"
"Then again who's this person exactly?" Ichigo stopped and grabbed Renji's clothes, looking angry and all, "It's RUKIA! You still don't remember her?! You're the most close person to her, aren't you? You have been together with her for years, haven't you?"
"I did?? ...Couldn't be helped, right, I couldn't remember!"
"Don't say that it couldn't be helped!"
Renji's attention goes to the water seller, he remembered some flashback and whispered, "Rukia..." Ichigo smiles, "That's right, it's Rukia! Say her name for 100 or 200 times then remember!"
Dear readers, now we know his secret how to never forget about Rukia, don't we?
Renji shooked his head, he couldn't remember her. He asked Ichigo, why he's so desperate to save Rukia. It's always has to be asked, ne?
"Rukia is... the one who changed my world." *flashback of memories in the rain scene and first episode scene* "I was about to die. To save my family she gave her shinigami power to me...
I'm here right now... because of her."
*massive nosebleeds* What a confession...
Scene changed to Yama-jii cs. Urahara begins his long, long explanation. So before, there's this tiny hollow Urahara inspected before (the tail is the same shape as brother's scythe) It able to take memories of the people he slashed, but it's only for some period of time. So what if there's another 'power' that control that 'power' and what if memories from a shinigami named Kuchiki Rukia got taken? Yes, it becomes third movie.
Urahara went about how the memories are connected, you can even call it 'bond'. If memories got taken from someone then another person's memories will disappear as well. There's one special case here: Ichigo. Ichigo got his shinigami power from Rukia, he's connected to Rukia, that's why if memories about Rukia vanished, memories about Ichigo vanished too, that's why everyone doesn't remember him.
(if wife goes missing, husband got forgotten as well? what a logic)
Hitsugaya asked what about Mayuri, everyone didn't forget about him. Urahara said it's a tricky situation, he almost got fooled by it also. He thought because Mayuri is a 'strange' person he must had prepared some tricks so Urahara went to Mayuri's lab to check. He found the spare brain data back-up, so everyone's memories was backed up that's why they don't forget about him.
"Let me say this again... every memories are connected."
Kon was sniffing the ground, Ichigo asked him if he found any clue but he only knows that Nee-san just passed here a moment ago. Renji asked him, "Didn't you say you received shinigami power from Rukia? Then both of your spiritual thread might be the same."
He told him to find her spiritual thread, usually in a place filled with spiritual power like SS, it's impossible to do that. But it's different case here, because Ichigo's is similar to Rukia so it may reach. Renji told him he will help so let's just do this even though it's bound to fail. But Ichigo went rage instantly.
"Don't say foolish thing! I won't let it fails. Her... Rukia and I... are connected! I'll definitely find her whereabouts!" *nosebleeds*
The next scene was glorious (the music also). A RED THREAD was flying around until it reached Rukia's back. Though, one thing I don't understand... Right now Rukia is not a shinigami and Ichigo no longer have Rukia's shinigami power, but whatever, THEY'RE STILL CONNECTED WITH THE RED THREAD OF FATE. I GOT THE MESSAGE, SHISHOU.
Inside Mayuri's lab, the sister told the brother to do something with the pendant and machine. When the brother about to put the pendant back to the flower, Rukia woke up and told them to wait. The sister went to her side and hugged her, saying that they're going to destroy shinigami that put Rukia into so much pain.
Rukia tried to stop them, because what they're going to do will make so much people suffer. The sister didn't want to be separated from Rukia ever again, but even though Rukia already told her that she's not going anywhere, her black reaitsu was uncontrolled, whatever touches it vanish and reappear outside, causing destructions.
Outside, Renji and Ichigo were running and buildings around them got destroyed. Ichigo went, "RUKIA!!" and suddenly sprint, leaving Renji behind. --> this scene is dead hilarious. Ruins fall on Ichigo, Renji told him to leave it to him but his shikai is useless. In nick time he bankai-ed.
He let Ichigo rides his bankai, "See, Zabimaru could be used like this." He said that looking so proud, Ichigo just, "Yeah, I know..." Then Ichigo bankai-ed on Zabimaru. So the new use of Zabimaru is: A stage to do bankai. Awesome, ne Morita-kun?
They destroyed the wall where Rukia cs was.
"I've come to bring you back, Rukia." *nosebleeds*
Renji was shocked, "So that woman is Rukia?" Upon seeing Renji, flashback comes to Rukia, she remembers that this person was the same kid back then.
"Ren..ji..."
The sister told them to go home, "Rukia doesn't know you guys!!"
Ichigo protested, "No way, Rukia is our precious nakama."
"Rukia does not wish for that! Rukia is already different with you guys!"
But Ichigo went, "RUKIA!!"
Ichigo reached out his hand to her, you know like in those cheezy dramas, saying cheezy quotes with that cheezy look on his face, complete with cheezy flashbacks, he only needs to kneel down and the cheezyness will be perfect.
"Please
marry me remember! The you that I know, will never abandon yourself as a shinigami. You gave life for me whom you just met. You gave me your power so I'm able to protect my family... YOU are a strong person like that!" *nosebleeds nosebleeds*
Rukia was in pain the whole time, "I-I..."
Ichigo shouted again, "RUKIA!!"
"Don't Rukia! Don't remember! You will return as a shinigami-!" The sister slipped the truth that should never be spoken while hugging Rukia.
"Shinigami? I was a shinigami, wasn't I?" Rukia's statement made her cry even more. She moved forward a step and asked Ichigo,
"Let me hear it again, your name."
"Kurosaki... Ichigo." For no reason Kon also replied, "I'm Kon-sama!"
"Kurosaki..," then flashback, Memories in the Rain scenes, bridge scenes, Soukyoku rescue scenes and last the first episode scenes. "Ichigo..!" *nosebleeds* *nosebleeds* *nosebleeds*. Right after that the sister cried and screamed, releasing black reiatsu from her body. It's like everything is doomed if Rukia remembers Ichigo, which make the whole scene even more moe.
"I won't give Rukia to you," the sister claimed, "We'll become one with Rukia!" The brother asked if it's allright because Rukia herself will be gone if they do that. He agreed anyway without answers.
After a few Rukia oh Rukia from the twins, Rukia's moe scream and Ichigo's moe "RUKIA!!" JA-JA-JANG, DARK RUKIA APPEARS~! *nosebleeds*
Dark Rukia dumps the pendant back to the flower-thingie, "Disappear, shinigami and everything shall vanish!" All hell broke loose again.
"So this is the one behind Seireitei's destruction?" (that's fast, Renji) Ichigo told him to be ready but Renji, "You go after that woman, that's the reason you came here this far, right?" Ichigo had that determined look on his face, which was very very moe. So he left everything else to Renji and went after Rukia, "RUKIA!!"
Ichigo was soon pwned. Kon got separated from Ichigo and got stuck and frozen (poor little guy but you see, no one shall disturb husband and wife's fight). Dark Rukia fights beautifully, dancing and fighting at the same time. She twirls, kicks, stabs, slashes, cuts, hell yeah she pwns.
"Stop it! Rukia I beg you! Open your eyes, it's me, Ichigo! Please remember, Rukia!"Aah, happiness.
Meanwhile there was a monster roaming outside. It was the ugliest thing I've seen from Bleach. To put it simple: WTF. No one dares to interfere husband and wife's fight so they chose to clean up the mess outside. Yama-jii started first. Ukitake and Kyouraku released their shikai. Then Yoruichi and Soi Fong went together, Soi Fong got swallowed and was saved by Urahara's benihime. Yoruichi caught her and then she looked at Urahara, smiling.
Hitsugaya, Matsumoto, Shuuhei, all got their own moments. Shuuhei's shikai was cool.
The most hilarious thing was of course, Kenpachi who suddenly revives out of nowhere, goes BUHAHAHAHAHAHA!! and cuts everything that's in his way. Yachiru came out from nowhere also.
"RUKIA!!"
Yes, they're still fighting and I've been waiting.
"If I took this man's memories... nobody will remember Rukia again."
"Idiot! Memories are not everything. Renji's soul remember me and so does Rukia!
There's no way you could take our bond away!"Aaahhh, happiness <3
Scene changed again. Urahara finally realized that cleaning the mess outside is pointless, they need to stop the husband and wife's fight. Nii-sama came out of nowhere and shikai instantly, he made a sakura tunnel for himself to go through. At times like this, only related family could interfere, ne?
The moment Rukia almost slash Ichigo (which was ridiculously long, like, what are you doing Dark Rukia, do it already) Nii-sama put Rikujoukourou on her. She desperately tried to break away from it. Wait where have I seen this scenario before? Oh right... first episode.
Nii-sama looked at Dark Rukia and pulled his sword, "If what you said is the truth then I shall finish her."
"Wait! Rukia is still there! No matter what happens, we are still connected!! RUKIA!! ...Right? Isn't that true, RUKIA!!!"I'm going to die I'm going to die I'm going to die I'm going to die --> my poor inner fangirl heart
Renji commented how it's already too late to save her because of her hollow reiatsu. Suddenly you could hear sobs from Kon, "Nee-san, save Nee-san." (THIS LITTLE GUY IS TOO FREAKING ADORABLE FOR WORDS).
Ichigo remembered the first time he received power from Rukia. The whole scene was redrawn, even the last dialogue was changed:
"If we fails, we're going to die together."
DIE TOGETHER. LIKE IN LOVER'S SUICIDE?! It's good if it succeed but even if it doesn't you wouldn't mind dying together with Rukia, NE ICHIGO? *melts*
Ichigo goes again how Rukia has given him power, has saved his family, has sacrificed herself, "That's why I won't give up here." Nii-sama was *touched* that he decided to let him do as he please. What an understanding nii-sama-in-law *nods nods*
"Rukia, now it's my turn to give you my powers..." *nosebleeds*
White Dark Rukia with black reiatsu and Black Bankai Ichigo with white reaitsu... Hmm I smell Yin Yang.
"OPEN YOUR EYES, RUKIAAAAGGHH!!!" *nosebleeds*
Flashback to when Rukia about to stab Ichigo, "It's Kurosaki Ichigo." Return to the future, Ichigo stabbed Rukia (there was blood and all). Dark Rukia dissolved into shinigami Rukia. She falls and Ichigo catches her with his arms. Those scenes were glorious. Really glorious. I didn't blink as I couldn't.
Nii-sama went bankai and Renji helps him to destroy the thing where white snake thingie came out.
Smokes vanished and I saw a hug <333 *melts* The scene was quite long, as if to make sure everyone has this scene printed on their brain (it surely has on mine). Ichigo does look like he's brushing her hair after the hug. Seriously he doesn't need to go from top of her head to release her away. Protective gesture, ne Ichigo? I understand.
"Ichigo..."
"Yoo..."
*nosebleeds nosebleeds nosebleeds*
Quite far from them the twins was dying on ground.
"Ichigo..."
"Ah, you can go."
DEAR HUSBAND CAN I GO OVER THERE AND HAVE A LITTLE TALK WITH MY PRECIOUS CHILDREN? YES DEAR WIFE. But seriously, looking at these two made me embarrassed without reason. Too husband and wifey it's embarrassing.
Rukia went to them and hold their hands. The sister asked, "Rukia, is that you Rukia?" Rukia answered her, "Ah, it's me." She said, "We got our punishment, because we didn't listen to Rukia's words." The brother asked Rukia not to hate his sister. (ASDFGHJKL;! HOW? HOW COULD I HATE YOU WHEN YOU GUYS ARE SO ADORABLE LIKE THIS??!!)
Flashback, the little twins was attacked by a possessed shinigami. The hollow who possessed him was the same hollow with the one Urahara inspected before. Rukia did awesome kicks and onehanded kamehameha (DAMN YOU DRAGONBALL AND YOUR STUPID MOVIE AND TRAILER BEFORE FTB!) The shinigami went about how this body is no longer good, that he wants Rukia's power and body. Rukia got caught, the moment the hollow inside the shinigami wants to possess Rukia, the sister stab the shinigami with his sword. The shinigami leaves Rukia alone (she lost her consciousness) and kills the twins......
Urahara explained that the hollow must have taken Rukia's memories that's why Rukia didn't remember about the twins. Actually the sister had the ability to transfer/teleport things, that's why that time, in order to protect Rukia, the sister teleport themselves, together with the hollow to Hueco Mundo. Only their feelings of want and need to see Rukia that keeps them alive.
"I'm sorry for lying to you. Actually we were ended that time." The sister apologized.
"It wasn't the end. Death is not the end! You guys came back, didn't you? I was happy, I was really happy!"
"Because we want to see Rukia... because we don't have anyone else beside Rukia..."
"You're not alone. Didn't you always have someone who's right beside you? I remember now, your names. Homura... and Shizuku. Those who shines by being together side by side."
"We really wanted... to hear that... Shizuku..."
"Homura...nee-san..."
"Sayonara... Rukia...""Don't go! Homura! Shizuku! Answer! Please answer me!! Homura...Shizuku!!" Rain falls, Rukia cried her heart out to the sky...
Scene changed, Rukia was reading the letter the twins gave her. Ichigo approached from behind.
"You saved me again."
"You were the one who saved me in the first place."
*blushed blushed blushed, oh gawd, I can't believe I kept smiling like an idiot watching them talking to each other so usual like this*
"Hey, if death is not really the end, both of us, maybe our meeting that time was not our first. Maybe we were already connected way before that. I don't know, but I think a bond that was once connected will never be broken. So even if we forget about everything, we will still be connected in other place. With you, and those twins also."Ichigo was summoned, heart receieved attack: 9999 hit! You had died, movie continued.
"See you later, shinigami."
"It's not shinigami, it's Kuchiki... Rukia."
Ichigo had that really soft look on his face and Rukia was really beautiful. And I'm one happy fangirl melting on my chair.
The ending credit shows everyone's Zanpakutou. The first was Zangetsu in orange color and the second was Shirayuki in purple. What a combination. Awesome. And as always, Nii-sama's was the best.
I learned that Japanese people are really considerate people. No one went home when the credit is still on roll. The light wasn't on either. They all wait until it's over.
Oh, and the after credit scene was hilarious. Kon was still frozen and crying because everyone forgets about him. He said, "Don't forget!!!" at the end. Sure, I will never forget <3
